Meet Whitney Allen, one of the strongest women I know. I first heard about her story on the news last year. Whitney's life was changed forever in October 2021 when her husband Ryan, a Hatboro Police officer, was stung by a bee at home. He told Whitney he wasn't feeling well and suffered and extreme allergic reaction. Tragically, his condition never improved and he passed away in April the following year. He left behind Whitney and their two sons.
This is the second time I have photographed Whitney. I was honored when she asked me to photograph her book cover. The title of her book is Running in Trauma in Stilettos. Her goal is to share her story and to help other people going through the unimaginable. She found peace and purpose while writing this book. You can get a copy early this year when the book is released. Thank you, Whitney. I'm so honored to have photograph you.
